@brucefaulkner22 @ParkBoardWiebe @ParkBoard @vanaqua They're equally ignorant and willing to sacrifice anything for political points & personal agenda. According to FOI request, neither spoke to a single expert. The uneducated misled the public and bullied the Aquarium into submission. Sadly too late now to change that.

If @ParkBoardWiebe & @ParkBoard commissioners care so deeply about cetaceans, perhaps it's time they now join forces with @vanaqua to prevent the global population decline affecting so many species, or issues like #bycatch, responsible for 300,000 deaths/year.

.@ParkBoardWiebe led the bully campaign against @vanaqua, pushing for a "cetacean ban" w/o having consulted experts on the topic, to further a personal populist agenda. Only 1 commissioner dared to speak up, citing concerns. The Supreme Court proved her right today. #vanpoli #yvr
