@GhislainGir Yeah the WPO issues can be a nightmare and is very much inline with the "Make everything static and Nanite" workflow. Best method is to stick to directional light a small number of small radius lights. 5.1 changes show that WPO-Nanite-VSM interaction is a prio for epic though🤞
@GhislainGir I think in recent years UE is driven very much by Fortnite/Internal Projects, they probably think this method is good enough for smaller projects. Features like Distance Field Shadows and VSM handle larger worlds well although need good lighting management.

@nikita_maribor The land is procedural generated using a Marching Cube algorithm, when I click I cast a ray and disable the nodes around the hit point then rebuild the mesh using compute shaders :)
