Today May 3rd the New York Times gives Buffett an ass-kissing article focusing on his critique of President Trumps efforts using tariffs to correct decades of offshoring, trade deficits, manufacturing decline and impoverishment of our middle class… Buffett’s criticisms were superficial, simplistic, and inadequate. Given his perceived status as ‘Sage’ and US business leader, he should instead have challenged his tame political correctness; The weaponization of trade has been China’s Communist Party’s obvious strategy since the Clinton administration, and Buffett a willing, leading, ‘running-dog’ profiteer.
