@Stunt_ManMik3 @TheBatmanFilm_ Exactly what I was thinking as well. This trend of so many sequels being long delayed is a very new phenomenon. From about 1980 to 2010 most sequels were, generally, within a 3 year window.

@Drumdums This movie is no different than any other that comes along; Am I interested in seeing it? And I’m honestly not. Not theatrically anyway. No reviews, paid or not, have any bearing on my gut instinct. I’m more excited for the 4K of ‘Troy’ from @ArrowFilmsVideo coming in August.

Just watched ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ (2016) & ‘Dark Phoenix’ (2019). They don’t deserve the disparagement they receive. They’re highly entertaining, packed w/ awesome scenes/dialogue, and superior to anything the MCU has released in 6 yrs. (Oscar Isaac miscast not withstanding.)

“33” from Battlestar Galactica (2004) announces exactly what kind of show it’s going to be. Turning sleep deprivation into the central threat was such a brilliant hook & watching the entire fleet unravel every 33 mins is still so nerve-racking.

@Fame_0007 Good movie. Great propaganda. Much needed too. I’ve seen far worse movies with far worse performances. Some of the writing is ham fisted with poorly staged exposition for sure. Still a good flick that I enjoyed twice.

@GRCinemaTicket At the time of release: 2 I really didn’t like it for a long time. I reassessed it a few years back and most of my issues with it seemed to be a waste of energy. Despite any misgivings I really enjoy it now. Final rating: 4
