Shop local! Star Rock Shop is the oldest sweet shop in Scotland and has produced rock for the past 185 years using an old recipe passed down from owner to owner. The unique shop in Kirriemuir once supplied rock to Peter Pan author JM Barrie. #TasteofAngus bit.ly/2xElfhT

Friday's Fascinating Fact: The Dibble Tree Theatre is the home of Carnoustie Theatre Club’s talented amateur dramatists. Originally a joiner’s workshop, it was converted in 1999. The 48 seats in the theatre are from the now defunct Regal Cinema in neighbouring Broughty Ferry.

Friday's Fascinating Fact: Arbroath was formerly known as Aberbrothock, derived from the Brothock Burn. The shortened version of the name came in the early to mid 19th century. In 1394, Arbroath’s first harbour was built and later replaced in 1725. bit.ly/2QRzMzB
