State Attorney Monique Worrell just said a man masturbating in front of kids at a public park is “wrong but not illegal. ”How could this possibly not be seen as illegal? Exposing yourself and performing a sexual act in public in front of a child is not only disgusting and morally bankrupt — it is a crime under Florida law. Florida Statute 800.04(7) clearly defines Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition as intentionally masturbating in the presence of a child under 16. This is a second-degree felony.T his wasn’t some gray area. A man was caught on video masturbating on a park bench facing children playing at a splash pad. Her office declined to prosecute. Then she defended it publicly. This is Florida. They don’t tolerate soft-on-crime prosecutors who protect predators over children. Governor @GovRonDeSantis already suspended her once in 2023 for neglect of duty. She somehow got re-elected. It’s time to do it again. Protect the kids. Suspend her.

Here's how this unironically works. The classical definition of pluralism is a democratic state that allows multiple parties to run for office. But that's not how Western political scientists see it. They see pluralism as a holistic set of public-private relationships that keep each other in check. For instance, a media outlet might be fact-checked by a public NGO. Institutionally, this creates an ideologically narrow, conformist class as credentialism increasingly originates from whoever is educated by the "right" universities and professors. That is why they can say with a straight face that truly independent media like @timcast or Joe Rogan are authoritarian - because they've found a way to gain credibility outside of this system of mutual-ideological-policing. And because this so-called "pluralism" is dependent on government and nonprofit dollars alike, and also unfalsifiable (every pushback is a justification to double down on defeating misinformation), you get nonsensical end results such as this one.

In honor of the USA’s 250th birthday, on day 13 of my Founding Father tributes, I’m gonna tell y’all a little about Robert Morris. Robert Morris (1734–1806) is one of the most important but underappreciated Founding Fathers. He was known as the “Financier of the Revolution” — the man who helped pay for the American victory. Before the war, Morris was one of the richest men in the colonies through international trade. When the Revolution started, he used his own fortune, credit, and business connections to fund the Continental Army when the government had no money. This man put his money where his mouth was, American Patriot style. Morris personally guaranteed loans and issued his own notes to keep the army supplied. At one point, he helped fund the Yorktown campaign (the decisive victory) largely out of his own pocket and through his networks. Without him, the Revolution likely would have collapsed due to lack of funds. Morris helped establish the Bank of North America (the first real national bank) and pushed for a strong financial system — ideas later expanded by Alexander Hamilton. But Morris wasn’t just the checkbook. He: - Signed the Declaration of Independence -Signed the Articles of Confederation -Signed the U.S. Constitution (he was a strong supporter of a powerful central government) -Served as the first Superintendent of Finance under the Articles — basically America’s first Treasury Secretary. Robert Morris was the ultimate behind-the-scenes money guy who kept the Revolution alive when the odds were terrible. George Washington and others repeatedly credited him with helping save the Revolutionary cause. Unfortunately , after the war, Morris overextended himself in land speculation and ended up in debtors’ prison for over three years (1798–1801). Morris had been in poor health for years following his time in debtors’ prison (1798–1801). He suffered from complications related to his imprisonment, general frailty, and likely asthma or respiratory issues. Sadly, he was one of the few Founders to die in relative poverty despite his massive early contributions. He died at home, cared for by his wife, in relative obscurity. His story is a reminder of the personal risks many Founders took — some paid a heavy price, indeed.

What is unfolding in New Orleans should alarm the entire Nation. The State Attorney General warned New Orleans officials — in writing — that their plan to seat an unauthorized officeholder through a special election the State no longer recognized was unlawful. For issuing that warning, the City convened a grand jury and indicted her on sixteen felony counts of public intimidation and malfeasance in office. Then the court sealed its doors against the press — handcuffing a journalist and their attorney for attempting to cover the proceedings, in defiance of State law. Now that the state Supreme Court has stayed the action, the city refuses to rescind the arrest warrant. This is a direct assault on America by corruptly using the force of one's office to achieve an unlawful result.

This American family has a property that’s over 100 acres large He wanted to built a treehouse, the county told him it needed to be a specific size, so he built it that size Th country is now saying it’s considered the primary residence on the property and won’t let them build another house….. again they own 100 acres…. The reason is, is because they have an ordinance structure that says you can’t build the secondary home before the first home (and now the treehouse is considered a home) The only workaround is to pay thousands of dollars for surveyors to draw an invisible line, divide up the property so it’s now technically a separate property so they can built their primary house The government is too big.
