Entering Hurricane Season's third week and a disturbance in the Rio Grande Valley has a chance for development. Regardless of development, its moisture may flow to the Carolinas by Friday or Friday night. Hopefully the drought doesn't kill it off because that would be glorious!

STRESSFUL HEAT: Yes, it's (for all intents and purposes) "Summer" in SE NC, but the heat can sneak up on you. Hoisting a First Alert Weather Day for Friday, which will likely be the peak of the heat, with Heat Indices closest to 105. Stay hydrated and rested in these hot times!
