@coldxman Unless FIFA is even more brazen than I think, this event may end up being a disadvantage for the US. It means FIFA will have to be more careful in encouraging the Ref to favor the US in the Belgium match, if ever they planned to do that.
@coldxman In this case, an unjust result via a morally pure process would be better. Bad ref calls happen all the time, worse ones than the one in question, and often more decisive ones. They hit everybody. It is way more important to avoid the appearance of a corrupt process.
