The hard part is getting people to collect more then once when there isn’t utility or secondary market potential. It’s a played out experiment, I don’t think rodeo survives even if Kanye posted there
I don’t really have a huge affinity to Verse but it still makes me sad. Platforms cost a lot to run and when there is no money in art this is the default pivot (see Rodeo and the other one I can’t even remember). I wish them luck but they have a very slim chance at success. The

The algo has cratered engagement and discoverability on top of that so I don't feel optimistic abt artists and upstart galleries being able to promote new works. It really feels like the whole thing is coming to a (hopefully temporary) end.
Some perform well enough in the current paradigm but it's not enough to sustain the fees that a for-profit endeavor require to persist. Attempts to bring back speculative trading have failed (art coins, SoFi). The latest pivot from Verse does not feel like it comes from strength
A lot of folks don't listen to the show anymore, which is understandable since we have slowed down our episode production so much... One theme we have been hitting on consistently for the past ~2 years feels like it is playing out:
