Garfield only watching television that already reinforces his perspective of the world is not funny
Decently funny, but it's also another one of those installments that I feel might be funnier if Garfield just said nothing at all and we just got the beat of Jon running back in. "Ah, inactivity" is a good line though

If Garfield slept through the first howl, how did he know it was an encore? Didn't really make me laugh, but the idea of a dog encore is cute, as is seeing what Odie gets up to away from Garfield

Running these two strips back-to-back is hilarious to me, albeit entirely unintentionally. Garfield, when you eat food out of dumpsters, your have no room to be worried about mice germs
So Odie is implying that Garfield can't stop him from eating his food? That doesn't make any sense for these characters

I don't necessarily think this is *funny*, but I always appreciate when the strip remembers that Garfield hates Monday because THE VERY CONCEPT OF MONDAY IS OUT TO GET HIM, not because of typical office "got a case of the Mondays" stuff
This joke is one of the most tired premises around, but I really enjoy the facial expressions in pretty much every panel, the artist was having fun with this one
I like this joke, but it's another one hurt by the rigidity of the format. Either cut the middle panel (or make a sight gag out of Garfield wolfing them down!) and it'd be stronger
Not funny because the concept is flawed. Why would Garfield care what Liz thinks of him?
