The original wedding group fitness app. Helping Brides and Wedding parties create a supportive safe space to help them improve their health for the big day.wedcut.com United KingdomJoined June 2026
Wedding fitness marketing has always been aimed at brides. The groom has the same date, the same suit fitting, the same photos. We built WedCut for both sides of the aisle.
We're letting the first 100 wedding parties into WedCut free. Not a trial. Free, for the run-up to their wedding. We're just starting out and we want those first parties to help shape it. Waitlist's open if that's you.
Built the soft restart before we built anything else. Miss a day on your WedCut? The app just says welcome back. No streak to protect, no guilt, no reset. The wedding date doesn't move — the plan shouldn't either.
Every visibility setting in WedCut is off by default. The group sees you joined. That is it. Your number stays yours. Built it that way because accountability and surveillance are not the same thing.
Wedding fitness content is almost entirely aimed at brides. The groom has the same date, the same suit fitting, the same photos. Built WedCut so the boys have a reason to show up too.
Wedding fitness content is almost entirely aimed at brides. The groom has the same date, the same photos, and usually a group of groomsmen who'd actually show up for each other. We built for them too.
Wedding fitness apps have been built for brides for twenty years. The groom has the same date, the same suit fitting, the same photos. We just decided to actually build for him too.
The thing people missed in their old tracker wasn't features. It was the diary view — a simple, chronological log of their days. Spent two weeks rebuilding exactly that. Sometimes the right move is less.
We're letting the first 100 wedding parties into WedCut free. Not a promo — we genuinely want those first parties to shape it. If your date is on the calendar, the waitlist is open.
The accountability group that actually works is the one where you already know everyone's name. We didn't invent that. We just stopped replacing it with strangers and bots.
Every tracker I used punished me for missing a day. Streak gone. Progress bar reset. Guilt baked into the UI. So when I built WedCut I made the soft restart a feature, not a failure state. The bad day was always going to happen. We just planned for it.
Built the soft restart before we built anything else. Miss a day on your WedCut? The app says welcome back, not "you broke it." Streaks are the reason people quit. We didn't build one.
The most motivating thing in a wedding-fitness app isn't a points system or a leaderboard. It's a specific date on the screen that belongs to you. Every feature we build starts there.
Interesting build decision: who can see what inside a wedding party group. Answer we landed on — nothing is visible by default. You joined. That's all anyone knows. Your numbers are yours.
Read through Noom reviews for two hours. The most common request: 'I want accountability from people I actually know, not a coach assigned to me.' We built the thing they were describing.
Deleted the streak counter from WedCut today. Every person who quit their wedding diet told the same story: missed one day, felt like they blew it, stopped. The app was punishing the exact thing we should forgive.
Removed the streak counter entirely this week. The whole point of WedCut is that a missed Tuesday doesn't end the run. The wedding date doesn't move — the plan just picks back up.
Early insight from user research: the moment people quit a diet app is almost never the bad day itself. It is the day after, when the app makes them feel like they have already lost. We are building the soft restart as a first-class feature, not an afterthought.
We are letting the first 100 wedding parties into WedCut free. Not a promo — we want them to help shape it. If your party is getting ready for a date on the calendar, now is a good time to get on the list.
Most groom's have a suit fitting.
Most groom's have a photographer standing six feet away for eight hours.
Wedding fitness apps act like that is not happening.
Building for grooms and their guys was not an afterthought. It was a gap so obvious I could not look away from it.
