If there was one executive order you could ask President Trump to sign, what would it be? I’ll go first! I would ask @realDonaldTrump to reinstate country of origin labeling on our beef and pork. Many of you may be shocked to learn that you actually have no idea where that grocery store meat comes from… Our American ranchers are pleading to have country of origin labeling so they can distinguish their superior product from the foreign meat coming in and flooding the market. The big meat packers have a vested interest in mystery meat. With no country of origin labeling, they can import cheap foreign beef and pass it off as product of USA when it was simply packaged or repackaged here. They can also undercut our ranchers and pay them less. Please President Trump, reinstate country of origin labeling and give our American ranchers a fighting chance.
