@paulg Harm us or harness us? Even without the matrix, some people are working awfully hard on "robot girlfriend." And we saw a benign version of this in Her, a malevolent version in Ex Machina, and a mixed version in Humans. So sci fi writers are definitely thinking about it.

@alinelernerLLC @interviewingio The certifications that matter are the ones relied upon by non-technical managers. Salesforce and similar enterprise apps. Or they are a requirement in some enterprise software ecosystem. Obviously, those engineers are not the target for your platform.

@ThatChrisGore Breaking the "moviegoing habit" rings true with me. I hit 50-60 movies per year in the theater, for many years, then I spent a year traveling abroad. Theater visits were minimal after that, and that was in 2013.

@ingenthr I almost feel guilty with my Brother HL-2170w laser printer. I bought it back in 2009 for about a hundred bucks and it still works like a champ, despite multiple OS upgrades and 9 moves.

@dvassallo In my situation - Graalvm on Lambda - it's way faster to run a test than build the image and test manually. If there's a way to do dynamic loading, I'm all ears. But the tests don't feel cumbersome.
