As someone born into poverty and almost didn’t survive long enough to escape it and now is making a living wage I can say with absolutely certainty that money absolutely does buy happiness. Anyone who says differently is lying or has never skipped meals.

Husb ordered bao buns last night - I legit couldn't handle this food staring at me. I wanted to eat but couldn't. He did the perfect thing I needed in that moment-took food away. But combined with other shit going on, I basically haven't stopped crying since Friday afternoon.

There seems to be a myth (scorn almost) amongst many of my adult friends that to put up pictures on our walls we now have to expensively frame everything. Don’t fall for this. Like fingering, blutacked posters are still allowed in adult life. Just for anyone worried about this x
