AOC has her heart in the right place, but is off pretty hard on this. Apple kept prices firm for far longer than they had to. When will democrats learn? They need start on enforcing current rules instead of making new ones they won’t enforce anyways. Be stricter on price collusion and dynamic pricing based on “identifiers”. That change hourly are meant to bleed people dry on every day items needed to survive. Instead they want to go after a once a year cost of goods increase on cell phones and laptops? Jeez, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help”.

@josesaezmerino I bought the 128 m5 max MacBook on preorder. Was 6300 I think. Now it’s like 8300. Super glad I preordered. But, if I had to order again I would. These devices are beasts and they just work. And with Apple care, it’s safe.

@karthikponna19 Accurate. When I switched to macOS at the M1 release I was shocked to have a laptop where the battery literally lasted 9 hours of constant use. Previously I got around 2 hours on my regular dell laptop.
