I interpreted the “barrier” effect after Sora’s guard in the kh4 trailer as a message to players that they acknowledged the guard fail issues in kh3 and are fixing it. Proof they have listened to feedback and are improving. In no way is that a negative if this is the case

@Jamspice4 That’s gonna be interesting. I don’t mind them bringing back some of them or giving us new ones so long as the countering system is as good as it was in kh3. I feel confident with how they handle it honestly

There are also more subtle things they showed that gave me this vibe. Snappier combo on darkside’s arm and arrows indicating off screen attacks for example. All common criticisms from kh3. Shout out to them for wanting to improve things and are listening

I actually hope the kh1 remake rumor is not true. The game holds up incredibly well to this day. There’s something special about the game feel of kh1 that has never been replicated by later games in the series. There are much bigger things to focus on with kh

The wait for kh4 is almost becoming funny. Square is like the boy who cried wolf once they finally announce something none of us will believe it. hopefully the game delivers
