As someone with an Amex platinum card, I can confirm you are very stupid to believe this. Even in 1987 the bank would not care if he came from bus station or rolls Royce. He’s obviously lying. It shouldn’t be so difficult to show proof of where you worked/what business you ran. He would be laughed at if he tried this explanation in any developed country.

i was paying $3.99 a month for @paste_app. literally $4 a month just to have a copy/paste clipboard on macos. didnt sit right with me, so i broke out claude code and built my own clipboard manager called "freepaste". about an hour worth of time to save $3.99 a month. i'd consider that time well spent. Available for FREE on MacOS store in a bit.
