It's been a busy and exciting weekend for hundreds of plane enthusiasts who have visited the airport to farewell the @Qantas #queenoftheskies. The Boeing-747 is being retired from the Qantas fleet in 2020 and the visit was part of a final farewell tour taking place around Aus.
@Qantas There was a huge send off for a much-loved piece of aviation history at @AdelaideAirport. The 'Queen of the skies', the 747 jumbo, made what could be its last flight from here and aviation enthusiasts were taking no chances on missing the moment. @TimNoonan7 #7NEWS
