@WhatsApp We have not sent any unapproved template out and what's more, all the messages we have sent out for KCS have only been test messages to KCS and our own staff. How then can we possibly have committed an offence worthy of summary permanent banning of our business?

@WhatsApp What is the point of the templates approval process? Is it not to prevent a proscribed template from going out and giving the service provider a chance to take remedial action BEFORE any damage is done?

@WhatsApp This gave us comfort that WhatsApp was okay with their line of business. What other conclusion could we have drawn? Why would we think, that an business operations template, much less a promotions or purchasing template, would be proscribed?

@WhatsApp To confirm this, we submitted to WhatsApp: 1. A branded promotions template for their business. 2. A branded electronic ticket purchasing template for their business. WhatsApp approved both. The screenshot is below.

@WhatsApp We had previously had doubts about whether KCS was in a WhatsApp approved business because of the sweepstakes business but we also recognized that it is also a charity so may be exempt.

@WhatsApp It was clearly urgent. We created a template and submitted it to WhatsApp for approval. The next day we found our ENTIRE WhatsApp business platform account had been banned.
