Updating Carousel of Progress is exciting! Yes we will lose the specific scenes of the original, but this isn't an attraction that hasn't experienced changes to scenes. Wholly aligning the decades to the original intent but framed for today is in my eyes, a perfect decision.

Timeline updates at Smugglers Run have begun to take effect! The first pre-show with Hondo has premiered at Batuu East, with all references to timeline re-recorded. Hondo is now more pirate-y than ever as there was no deal with Chewie to use the Falcon to help the Resistance!

I just realized, Mine Cart Madness feels so much like a classic Fantasyland Dark Ride, if one was a roller coaster. The tight turns, the relatively simple scene vignettes. Idk it's giving classic Fantasyland dark ride!
Battle at the Ministry has firmly entered the canon of theme park attractions that pass the Bechdel Test!
Great eye — Ygor is holding Plasma Darts! These are compact versions of the larger glowing rods you see around the Conversion Rings (some fans call it the “Torment Ring”). While they may look powerful, Plasma Darts are actually designed for temporary safety measures — they won’t destroy a monster, but they will stun one just long enough to survive an encounter. You’ll spot these darts throughout the experience: •Victoria has them loaded in her crossbow. •The Operations Team wears them mounted on their shoulders. •They’re even hidden physically in the queue -🎥look for them during the body cam footage with Wolf Man, and again behind Ygor in the first pre-show video. Glad you picked up on it — it’s one of those little details that help connects the whole world together. 🙏🏾

@StorybookAmuse @JohnTheMon2 I appreciate what they did with Minion Land, but it is absolutely a band-aid fix for the fact that nobody knew Despicable Me would have the staying power as a franchise when they put the ride there at the front. At the very least, they need to get ML off the park entry music loop

Guess I shall find out next week! For now, just thinking about how incredible Cirque Arcanus is. The sets, the score, the effects, the story, the characters, the puppetry. It all WOWS and it's my current favorite park show. Its story blows Untrainable Dragon's out of the water.
Personally I LOVE Cirque, it's in my Epic Top 3. And obviously Villains isn't getting a purpose-built theater. But was Disney truly unable to capture what people love about the Villains in a stage show when Cirque took what folks felt indifference to (FB) and made a show-stopper?
The first filming of Le Cirque Arcanus has made its way onto YouTube and the entire comments section is just people saying it looks so much better than Disney's Villains show which also made its way onto YouTube (I'm waiting to see it in person). Very interesting perception...
