GenX dudes and dudettes, maybe I’m old, but damn, I’m going to miss these guys. Black Sabbath has been part of our lives—our entire lives. Joe, one of my childhood friends and a lifelong fan, threw on Volume 4 back in the day, and when ‘Snowblind’ hit, it blew my ball hairs off (still haven’t grown back). That’s when I knew Bill Ward was the true master of ‘70s rock drummers. Bill is one of my two biggest influences. Absolute legend. July 5th, 2025, Villa Park, Birmingham. The final show: Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Gojira, and more! Additional performances from Billy Corgan, Tom Morello, Slash, and Jake E. Lee—my favorite Ozzy guitarist—and many others. Proceeds go to Parkinson’s research and local children’s hospitals. Let’s celebrate the legends one last time. #BackToTheBeginning

I am sad the Mr McBrain retired, but he deserves retirement as much as the rest of us. I hope I can get a taste of his BBQ over here in the states soon. Thank you @nickomcbrain your single pedal foot work has influenced me for decades.
