No one actually uses the term that way and you know it. You just wanted to show off and be pedantic about the way things are actually named in the CBA. And I was doing this long before I had any kind of public facing presence, so I don't appreciate your superiority complex on this. Length of time doing something just means you've been doing it longer. It doesn't mean you do it any better. You were 100% being ridiculous to come off as the smartest guy in the room and no one cares for that. If you are calling it matching salary under the trade rules, call it that. If you are thinking of it as a TPE in the way 99.9% of people who aren't actually working for a team, then call it that. This stuff is already confusing enough for people without being "well, actually, in technical terms...". Beyond that, I've already spent more time on this than was worth it for either of us. I'm moving about my day.

Limited sample, but Khaman Maluach was statistically the best rim protector in the league last season, holding shooters to 44.3% shooting within 6 feet of the rim. Opponents shot 47 for 106 against Maluach within 6 feet of the rim.

Thinking more about Koa Peat, I think it’s very likely he’ll become at least a decent rotation player based on his size and Ott’s development staff. Unless he has a Josh Jackson, Deandre Ayton, or Dragan Bender mentality, he should succeed.
