@ronmortgageguy Great thread! From my personal experience, TD has made it pretty easy for me to reduce payments with a simple phone call. Did it 3 times already. RBC won’t change the payments and National has been dropping it every time rates came down.

@ronmortgageguy @OSFIBSIF_leader Although I agree this is the right move. My experience is the existing bank offers much better rates than if I were to get a new mortgage with another bank. If not, they will match or beat competitor rates.

@RE_MarketWatch @mattcolangelo So everyone who owns a home is just sitting in their homes and being unproductive? The reason they could afford to buy a home in the first place was because they didn’t just sit on their ass. The problem is government policies not home owners.

She was pushing the talking points of the industry and had no clue what she was talking about. Unfortunately, that’s the reality of the business so I don’t blame her for trying to “sell” as that’s what a salesperson does. Everyone hating on her for trying to do her own job should look at how they’re living their own life. Aren’t you pushing your own industry talking points? What makes you so noble?

@JonFlynnREstats I wish agents would stop doing this. I can’t stand it when random agents reach out to me asking me about some random listing. If I had someone interested I’d book a showing and show the property! It’s a waste of time for everyone.
