I don’t personally know where we go from here, but wanted to acknowledge the people who noticed our absence from their inboxes and social media feeds and to thank you for pointing out the importance of this group.
There is obviously a need for YPG, or some new group like it to take its place. YPG’s foundations were deep, and created via years of hard work, but this industry has no shortage of motivated professionals to take up the mantle.
YPG (ex-)committee member here, going rogue on Twitter for a second. Thanks to everyone who shared what YPG has meant to them. We were all sad when AAP asked us to cease programming and communications at the end of 2018 for a “reset.”
