@patrickdichter Agreed. That’s why having a good group of dad friends is so critical. We can talk about that stuff and know that we’re not alone. But it takes consistent intentional effort over time to build that close circle.

@JordanPEvans Those are great. Especially as a parent. For me, it's also fixing my sleep so that I wake up refreshed and not drowsy at all. And avoiding foods that suck energy or give me brain fog. Sugar and carbs mostly.

@girdley @SethGirdley Love it. My two boys are 10 and 12. Would love to hear if there’s anything you did (or wish you had done) to help him move from boyhood to manhood. Character building areas like Doing hard things, Setting goals, Thinking of others, etc etc.

Fellow SMB searchers and brokers. Is there an unwritten rule that says brokers have to have really crappy websites, NDA and data sharing processes etc. There are some great ones but even the “biggest” have websites that look like they are from the 90’s. What gives?

Work up early (5am). Heads down working on business acquisition search. By 6am, I have little kids asking me questions and telling me they can’t go potty because toilets are gross. Controlling frustration about balancing parenting and providing a living.

@zacharybouck Yeah. Just don’t try CrossFit. It’s really hard and challenging. Way too much fun. The community is far to welcoming and friendly. You’ll get waaaaaaay too fit, flexible, strong, fast, etc. It’s just awful.
