@JulesDiner I watched that documentary and would be interested in how he reconsiles the associated gambling activities with being a minister of Christ?

Don’t believe a predator is repentant until you hear from the victims. They are the ones who will know whether he is or not,

Those calling Michael Tait repentant, and defending the pastor who posed with him, should listen to Tait’s victims. Absolution offered in ignorance is not mercy or grace. It is a refusal to hear the people who were harmed. Do not pronounce on what you do not know.

@reachjulieroys This is like the case with Burk Parsons and St Andrews.

@reachjulieroys This shows that Crick has a fragile belief system that cannot withstand challenge. It is a house of cards that cannot withstand the slightest wind less it collapses. So, she needs to maintain her ideas with a protective bubble. Burk Parsons does the same thing with his elders.

@CPresbyterian73 @yikesmom That RE is a coward. He calls people names, he expects people to practice Matt 18 but does not practice himself. He talks about conservative and masculine men but is neither. He seems to obsess about homosexuality to the point where many of us wonder if he has SA.

@ZacharyGarris Should elders and congregants know what they are paying their pastors or should it be kept a secret?

@JulesDiner Yep. These are times when an elder's public behavior warrants investigation. Like with Parsons, he publicly admitted to not having the biblical requirements of the office and his stated that he didn't want to be a pastor.
