@Krellitlikeitis I just rewatched it all, marathon style. So good I could do it again!

@playpokemon Do we need cancel league events? There is not enough time to run an LC with Top Cut on week nights (store closes). Weekends are full. New Tournament Rules say that Challenges have to have a Top Cut, but the League Rules still say to run them as Swiss with no Top. What's real?

@828dillon I also think that it is in keeping with all of the other flavors of Pokémon, including the anime, to embrace "I choose you" and allow you to choose your starter, then shuffle, then do the rest. What trainer leaves town or goes into battle without having a specific Pokémon ready?

@thefleeee I miss Battle Roads, Cities, and States - events held by a few of us that were independent TOs and created stepping stones to build player confidence to attend larger events.

@tablemon Points are the only way to control attendance at Worlds so we fit into a venue contracted years ago and high points are a great way to boost attendance at preliminary events like Regionals. But making Day 2 at a 3,000 player Regionals to get Cup points screams for a re-balance.

@Xeminan Back before Pokémon started casting Regionals, my Battle Factory stream was often hailed as the best "grassroots" stream. Joe was an integral part of that success as one of our highest value screen personalities. He excelled in both the play-by-play and color commentary.

@NickCRobinson Agree. Making Top 128 should probably get you more than 40 points too IMHO, but the points are the only way to control the number of attendees at Worlds and that has to be limited because resources are limited, so I get it. I still feel it might be time for a reballance.
