Pedestrian arguments like this tire me bcos it plays into the hands of a government that’s not interested in fixing anything. Lack of Dirt or trash isn’t the reason why Netherlands does not flood! I don’t know why we keep going back to this topic! The reason Amsterdam doesn’t flood is bcos of billions of dollars investment in world class flood protection engineering & technology. Also Dubai floods every year too and Dubai isn’t dirty but they have terrible flood protection systems which they are currently investing billions of dollars building proper sewage reticulation systems, flood detentions systems, flood gates and levees, etc to fix the flood problems! Few years from now when flooding becomes a thing of history in Dubai you’ll be here still blaming Lagos’s dirtiness which is still a problem caused by inadequate government infrastructure for it. Have you also ever asked yourself why no matter how badly Lagos floods, Eko Atlantic is NEVER flooded? The simple reason is bcos the private company that built & owns Eko Atlantic engaged the same Dutch engineers that designed the flood protection systems in the Netherlands to design that of Eko Atlantic! Even if there’s no single trash in Lagos, Lagos will still be flooded every rainy season! Until we spend money on building flood protection infrastructure. Large parts of the Netherlands are below sea level, yet they don’t flood every time it rains because people don’t block their drainage systems with rubbish. Lagos has a people living in Lagos problem. Regardless of the tribe, Lagosians are collectively dirty people.
@OneSodiqAlabii Also, I think the government announced that schools will no longer be registered for waec if their teachers don't have TRCN certification, and you can't even attempt TRCN exams if you don't have a BEd or PGDE in education . I believe that fixes some issues
@OneSodiqAlabii BSc? Nah BSc with PGDE in education should be the minimum. BSc holders don't understand teaching methodology, instructional design, the various learning philosophies, the various psychological learning theories and ailments, etc
@Tolu__Grey the land level reduces, and water from seas and rivers start flowing into the land. The bridge that connects ayobo , Lagos and Ogun state is a typical example. No amount of drainage cleaning or installation can fix the flooding that happens there.

UPDATE Currently carrying out the tensile tests for the PA-12 (NYLON-CF) material ASTM D638 test pieces, printed in the XY orientation. We'll analyse the tensile strength of PA-12 printed in the XY, XZ, & YZ orientation & compare results obtained.

@thekintann It may get worse. Lagos needs large-scale geo-engineering solutions to fix it's flooding issue. In ojo, around LASU axis it's even worse. Even under dry seasons, you may stick your entire lower arm in the sand and discover underground water
