Anyone remember when #PowerBI launched and a competitor was charging $2000 per user for a perpetual Desktop license and $500 per user per year for Online? The primary disruption Power BI had at launch wasn’t even technical. Its low cost for Pro led to revised prices everywhere.

@ehansalytics @kurtbuhler I also thought it was a lack of understanding of the visual aspect. But that’s not always the case. Over the past few years, I’ve been asking around about why, and one of the reasons I often hear is that they are afraid the data is incorrect. And in general, it’s just a habit.

Sometimes you just get blind to the obvious. I had a USERELATIONSHIP in DAX that just wasn't working. After trying everything, I finally looked at the date and realized it was a DateTime and not just a date. So, I ended up wasting a good chunk of my life on that.

You really realize how little you can do without the internet and #PowerBI. Here I am, sitting at a client’s place, pulling some data, when suddenly—bam!—the internet goes down. No access to the data or Power BI. Well, I guess that’s the universe telling me it’s break time!

@PowerBIguy I’m using having a page in the report, description thing, can also have images ect. And if more is needed like planning and admin information but then in a wiki or list somewhere.

@HowToPowerBI Do you like to use round corners more then standard. I know it looks more smooth (especially at buttons). But kind of give empty area in the grid, like the center. Kind of going back and forward myself on it.

Fabric implementation, broken APIs, missing data from APIs and a lot of others problems. Last month was a long way up the hill, with a lots of learning with fabric and a lot of crying with api and data problems. But now it’s vacation time, so it can wait and the dev can fix it
