I feel like every single person in my in real life just uses me and throws me to the side like I’m nothing. I’m never allowed to have feelings or emotions or opinions. I’m going quiet on here and basically everywhere but discord if I’m directly messaged.

Yes there is crap in every genre that is obvi not true horror and really can be some awful stuff. But lumping in every horror fan to be these slasher porn freaks is sooooo counterintuitive 💀

Horror is my favorite genre and I promise you I still jumpscare and get super queasy when there’s “gore” Also a lot of horror (depending on which it is) has extremely intense underlining meanings and depth and media literacy is super important for that!

Sorry but people who are obsessed with horror and slasher flicks and make it their entire personality are weird and off-putting.

I had a therapist like this!!! She was the best thing that ever happened to my mental health. She was so understanding and also knew I could handle having a certain push. Her realness made me see my realness as a human and how flawed I am.

I think therapists should all be a lot harder on people and tell them things like “you need to grow up” and “your own actions are making your life worse”

this might seem trivial to some but this is how men often disrupt women's fun, take pleasure in their discomfort and then gaslight them by labeling their reactions as crazy or over-the-top

Please I am begging you. Write grammatically fucked up fics. Make disproportioned drawings. Produce things that will haunt you to your grave for how ugly you think they are. It’s still better than any AI content, because it’s yours. It’s still art, because it’s /you/.

This right here. I always, ALWAYS call in crashes if I witness them. It’s so important for both parties to have an accurate record of what happened and in this case it potentially saved a minor for being pinned for the entire crash.

Today, I saw a car crash that was pretty bad and pulled over to make sure everyone was okay. There were three cars involved and I was the only person who stopped. Lucky I did because the cops came and tried to suggest the 17-year-old driver was driving recklessly.

Being halfway across the map while people you know’s backyard is burning to the ground is absolutely jarring. Every bone in my body wants to help, but you just can’t….
