@JamesDerryberry @britishberean @greetandtweet @Akemi180 Sounds like you are qualifying "privation" in a way that removes any contradiction or problem with what Van Til is saying. I'm not even sure how positive, historic acts that violate God's law warrant the word "privation" at all.

The early church practiced voluntary sharing of private property: i.e., capitalism. Communism means they wouldn't have owned anything to "share" in the first place.
