Let this sink in. BC has a GDP which is 8% the size of California, but BC is running a budget deficit 4 times that of California.
BC is hooped under ideological Eby.
Bill C-48 aka “The Tanker Ban” put an end to British Columbia’s role in becoming a serious partner in Canada’s Energy Security.
The worst part? American ships are dominating the west coast with Oil Tankers.
But David Eby doesn’t care that our energy stays landlocked, because he doesn’t believe in BC prosperity.
We do. Unleash our energy.
David Eby and his radical party believe that they can put a stop to pipelines.
The reality? British Columbia WILL build pipelines - no exception, no veto.
Western Canada will prosper with the help of British Columbia.
Amidst the endless “black-pilling” and doomsday scenarios being fed to Canadians by Laurentian boomers.
@ExnerPirot makes an optimistic case about the position of strength we can negotiate from when it comes to our economic future and relationship with the United States.
It’s up to Canada at this point. We can either choose decline or prosperity.
MLI’s Director of Natural Resources, Energy, and Environment, @ExnerPirot, joins @trevor_rose_’s podcast to talk energy, policy, and Canada’s economic future.
Seeing our cities once full of life and energy - now plagued with decline and decay is destroying hope for British Columbians.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
Reject Decline.
Hospitals in British Columbia are having to shut down for days at a time and the Federal Government is sending money to the likes of Syria and South Sudan?
Werner Stump from @BCcattle makes a point certainly worth thinking about.
“Effectively, all decisions about B.C. laws must be made in consultation and in cooperation with over 200 First Nation governments. The province and the First Nations will form a collective government that the people of B.C. do not elect.”
The Gitxaala court ruling requires all decisions about BC laws are made in cooperation with First Nations, effectively forming a "collective government" the people of BC did not elect, writes @BCcattle president Werner Stump for @BeatNorthernnorthernbeat.ca/opinion/if-dri…
More like $100 billion question
Canada’s $1 Billion Question: Do Property Rights Still Exist in British Columbia?
Provincial court ruling says indigenous groups can reclaim ownership of land taken from them scores of years ago
wsj.com/world/americas…
British Columbia is in International headlines - but for all the wrong reasons.
“Do property rights still exist in British Columbia?”
David Eby has broken BC
British Columbia is in shambles.
We have a government which fails on the basics, whole sectors of the economy are getting buried by the NDP’s anti-economic agenda.
Our healthcare system is dismal, people dying waiting for care, the failed “decriminalization” program which has taken countless lives.
Basic property rights have been thrown in question, UNDRIP and DRIPA are decimating investor confidence.
We’re losing young and talented people to other countries. All of rural, suburban and urban British Columbia have been failed by the NDP.
While all seems lost, I could not be more optimistic about the future of this province.
We have the ability to become the most prosperous province in Canada. We can bring a balance of power to Western Canada - build pipelines unapologetically and send our energy to the world.
We can revive our forestry industry and breathe life back into the rural communities ignored by the political class.
British Columbians deserve better days - and better days will come.

My latest for @westernstandard
“Until the province does a full reversal of this radical reconciliation agenda, investor confidence will not return, no matter how many guarantees are issued.”
westernstandard.news/opinion/singh-…
Investor confidence levels in British Columbia are at an all time low 📉.
All of rural, urban and suburban British Columbia are united against UNDRIP.
End UNDRIP now!
This area is not in the Cowichan decision area… but highlights what broader uncertainty in B.C. is leading to and the spill on impacts…
“pulled out of the deal worth tens of millions of dollars… because of “uncertainty” caused by the Cowichan ruling”
globalnews.ca/news/11573151/…
This is a lesson for BC:
We should never again allow ourselves to be under the thumb of shadowy bureaucrats making fat salaries for cheering on UNDRIP.
Unelected jockeys at the UN and in BC don’t get to make decisions.
Only the people do.
BC’s Human Rights Commissioner, who made $351K last year and whose (supposedly non-partisan) office cost BC taxpayers $8M, is praising today’s BC Court of Appeal ruling:

❗️A new statement from BC’s Pulp and Paper Coalition places the blame for the devastating Crofton mill closure squarely at the BC government’s feet:
“The fibre supply crisis is a made-in-BC problem… if our fibre supply challenges are not dealt with immediately, BC will
350 jobs aren’t just jobs.
That’s 350 families which just had their livelihoods taken away from them.
This is another brutal death blow to the BC forestry sector. British Columbians deserve so much better than this.
Victoria has failed British Columbia.
NEW - In a massive blow to BC forestry sector, the Crofton pulp mill is permanently closing.
Owner Domtar cited "poor pricing for pulp and lack of access to affordable fibre in BC."
More than 350 jobs lost.
@Dave_Eby had tried to save mill 2 yrs ago with transitional funding.
