@flaviaerius @nrennie35 You can also save a default.R file in the templates folder of your RStudio directory. Every new r script will open with the contents. I have all the set up stuff in mine like calls to library for the common packages I use, so I can just start with loading data straight away.

@CedScherer Not exactly the same but there is a package called randomcoloR that can generate random colours. The function distinctColorPalette can generate n numbers of distinct colours. I sometimes use it in scale_colour_manual to catch if I didn't define enough colours
