@connor_stace @GameXverse I say to have a list of what you want, because I have seen MANY sprouts who don't feel like continuing due to their friends/other people being in end game. You can easily lose sight of why you started in the first place.

@connor_stace @GameXverse Want to focus solely on raiding? Story skipping is ok but read on it later. Study up rotations, etc. Want to be a story enjoyer? take your time & ignore people who say 'hurry up and get to the end!' You can do both as well!

@connor_stace @GameXverse This was also my first "real" MMO. I would say to make a list of 3 things you want in the game & stick with it until u get to the end. It's really hard to get caught up with the playerbase telling you " x is the best part!" Remember, it's YOUR experience.

@connor_stace @GameXverse In the years I've been playing this game, if you love story, you will be disappointed before you get excited. I can sum it up here: ARR = history + delivery boy. HW = Real journey starts. SB = The ok filler. SHB = Tearjerker. EW = U peak. DT = Supposed to be exciting? not rly.

@ArakonePiro Although, I'm not really comfortable using this tool, you can say I do a similar thing by finding a shape on the ground similar to the arena, putting down waymarks & imagine different mech scenarios in my head like 'if A = boss & the add appears on D, I go here'

@Pookie_XIV @ObamaXIV yeah for sure it also happens in WoW. iirc, it's not really buying clears that's illegal but I think it should be. it's more of You giving your login details to a stranger and playing for you. That alone is against ToS.

@Pookie_XIV @ObamaXIV it's not paid with gil btw. it's real money. I was thinking of selling my account bc I wanted to quit the game but it was illegal so I opted out. I found sites where they sell clears and the process bamboozled my mind.

@Pookie_XIV @ObamaXIV & this is why people look at logs & tomestone.gg. u're not just "buying a clear". it's the mere fact that the game was literally made for you to win & you didn't even try. I suck at the game through numbers but at least I don't buy my clears.
