@reidatcheson Luckily for you the Central Park tennis courts get lots of use and are probably safe. Still need more pickle courts in the city though, the CityPickle ones in CP are hard to book and pricy. It’s a great game for casual racket players like me.

Love getting back into in-person tabletop gaming with friends at @HexAndCompany. First time at UES location—smaller than UWS, but still great! Unlike UWS they serve bagels after 4pm—a win for me 😋

@reidatcheson From what Theresa has told be based on her experience growing up in Manhattan, NYC can be a great place for kids and parents. Tons of learning opportunities, it’s very safe, and they get much more independence at a younger age due to the transit system.

@nerdtothecore Sure, especially if they are into Pauper. I used to be a Legacy player and Pauper is the closest thing I can find to it, but with an even nicer community. I plan on trying some of the EDH and Modern events at Hex & Co but would prioritize Pauper if it was available.

@nerdtothecore I have a few decks in paper and used to play at weekly events in Atlanta, but since moving to NYC haven’t had a chance to find anybody up here who plays the format at a game store in my area(uws). At this point I’m willing to go to BK or Queens if needed to get in some rounds.

@Eastern_Border @3YearLetterman If we completely ignore half of the World Cups from the past 30 years sure. The USA women’s team is amazing though. The men’s team will get better as more American boys are playing Soccer than ever before. Love your podcast!

@MightyHeaton Ukulele is small, fun, versatile, portable, and affordable. Loud enough for a sing along yet quiet enough to play in your apartment and not piss off your neighbors. Learning ukulele brought me lots of joy when COVID stopped me from playing live gigs with others on bass or drums.
