Every card game I have tried since January is like pretty good, but man nothing is remotely close to what LoR was. Fuck man, I miss competetive LoR 🥲. I miss my monthly 12 hours watchparties of opens, you don't know what you got until it's gone.

Button Day is here! What does that mean exactly? It means players can now access a button that redirects them to play, or install Legends of Runeterra from the @LeagueOfLegends client.

Just got my 2023 Worlds Top 8 Player and Finalist Title. This is probably the last and biggest competitive achievement in my LoR career. Playing LoR has been a joy for me, and I will never forget the excitement of competing in this game.

@GregorytheGray @AikadoLoR Was a little disheartening to me seeing so much pushback on this; I think a lot of it stems from disillusionment and sadness that opens don't matter anymore. It seems so open and shut to me that double queueing is a slimy move even if a big jokey creator is the one doing it

never tweeted out last open results since didn't do that well + game ending news but it was a really good final LoR comp memory for me. paid $15 for plane wifi to play on mobile on a shitty connection, did poorly, and still had a great time playing and didn't regret a thing

@random7HS @Scarzig @CaptSarahRed This really struck me when they talked in the FAQ about changing to a more predatory card acquisition model being a no-go. If you aren't making any money on the current structure and don't want make it harder to acquire cards why not do the opposite and give out all the cards?
