Following WHO’s declaration of the Ebola outbreak as a Public Health Emergency, @DGCAIndia has issued SOPs for Ebola preparedness at Indian airports. AAI International Airports have strengthened health surveillance measures for passengers arriving from or transiting through affected countries, including DR Congo, Uganda and South Sudan, with mandatory self-declaration and health screening protocols in place.

Airports Authority of India is proud to participate in the Rozgar Mela under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, reinforcing the commitment towards empowering India’s youth and contributing to nation building. Under the PM Mission Recruitment initiative, 350 appointment letters are being issued today across 28 locations nationwide. AAI remains committed to strengthening India’s aviation sector while contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

‘उड़ान’ योजना आम नागरिकों के हवाई यात्रा के सपनों को साकार करते हुए देश में क्षेत्रीय हवाई संपर्कता को मजबूती प्रदान कर रही है। नागर विमानन मंत्रालय @MoCA_GoI एवं भाविप्रा की इस महत्वाकांक्षी योजना के अंतर्गत विकसित किए जाने वाले 200 नए हेलिपैड सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों तक तीव्र और बेहतर हवाई संपर्कता सुनिश्चित करेंगे। यह पहल तीव्र मेडिकल सेवा, आपातकालीन तत्परता, पर्यटन, स्थानीय विकास एवं रोजगार के नए अवसरों को सशक्त बनाएगी, साथ ही देशभर में समावेशी विकास को नई गति देगी।

Inspiring Young Wings Through Aviation Excellence AAI’s Imphal Airport @ImphalAPD commenced National Cadet Corps (NCC) Microlight Familiarisation Camp yesterday, offering unique opportunity for 350 cadets to experience powered flying and gain immersive exposure to the world of aviation. The camp was conducted with 03 aircraft (Virus 80) and 04 experienced pilots, enabling cadets to closely witness aviation operations. Through such initiatives, AAI continues to inspire young aspirations and strengthen aviation awareness among nextGen.

The Airports Authority of India is pleased to announce that Routes Asia 2027 will be hosted in India in March 2027. At Xi’an city of China, AAI received the official insignia from the China West Airport Group, the hosts of Routes Asia 2026, formally handing over the hosting responsibilities for the 2027 edition to the Airports Authority of India. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. @narendramodi ji, India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world and the third-largest aviation economy. Secretary, @MoCA_GoI, Sh. @samirsinha69, through his video message extended a warm invitation to global aviation leaders, industry stakeholders, and partners, encouraging them to be part of this prestigious event set to take place in India. राजकोट अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे @aairajairport पर माननीय केंद्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री श्री @RamMNK जी द्वारा उड़ान यात्री कैफे का उद्घाटन, उन्नत यात्री सुविधाओं तथा विभिन्न हवाई अड्डों पर प्रमुख अवसंरचना उन्नयन कार्यों का शुभारंभ किया गया। माननीय मंत्री जी द्वारा अपने संबोधन में ‘उड़ान’ योजना के विस्तार को भारत में समावेशी और सुलभ हवाई यात्रा की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल द्वारा संशोधित 'उड़ान योजना' को लगभग ₹29,000 करोड़ की निधि हेतु स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई है और इसे आगामी 10 वर्षों के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत देशभर में 100 नए हवाई अड्डों तथा 200 हेलीपैड का विकास किया जाएगा। यात्रियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए, UDAN यात्री कैफे, डिजी यात्रा, बच्चों के लिए क्रीड़ा स्थल, AVSAR, फ्लाईब्रेरी, वाई-फाई तथा अवसंरचना उन्नयन कार्यों को विभिन्न हवाई अड्डों पर प्रारंभ किया जा रहा है, जिससे यात्रियों को बेहतर, सहज और आधुनिक यात्रा अनुभव मिलेगा। UDAN – ‘उड़े देश का आम नागरिक’ योजना के माध्यम से टियर-2 और टियर-3 शहरों को जोड़ते हुए क्षेत्रीय संपर्कता को नई गति मिली है। साथ ही, 'विकसित भारत 2047' के लक्ष्य के अंतर्गत देश में 350 हवाई अड्डों का विकास किया जाएगा ।
