Since it’s looking like I’ll finally have something ready for the next Loser, my 2 cents is this: not the cultural impact or the function of editors, could give a damn about that—my mind was made up on all that as soon as it appeared, not my place—but that I’m surprised nobody (that I’ve seen) has mentioned the possibility of submitting something like the (? many many) page novel consisting of nothing but sequential numbers from 0 to infinity Genji finds in Krasznahorkai’s A Mountain to the North... It’s silly—it would be the most annoying act of détournement ever, & probably the social constraints among readers/community is too much of a deterrent (no one has the guts to be that annoying—tho actually now that I’m outraged even thinking about it, I’m coming around & wondering what would happen…) but the interesting thing for me is that even if this hypothetical issue was as big as the Brooklyn bridge, I would still want to see it published, would want a copy (& just live in it like the old woman who lived in a shoe or something) Anyways that’s all sorry for so much borges pataphysics or whatever else bullshit this early in the morning🙂all this has been a lot of fun

Did my 5th step yesterday. This would be, technically, the 3rd time I’ve done one, since one time I did a whole 4th step only to relapse before getting to the 5th. Anyway, I only mention it because this morning it all clicked for me, which hasn’t happened before.

The one mystery of my own psychology (how desire works for me) I have a feeling I’ll never solve is why I’m so utterly averse to nihilism in all its forms, & so beholden to hope, which for the life of me I can’t get rid of…but tbh it’s better for me I think—to never know.

@weird_tan_lines Went on a rant similar to this last year to a friend. To make poetry a cold moist self(ishly) self contained bricolage of theory leads all academic ‘poets’ to the same end: harassing grad students half their age at the wine bar until it’s time to call a car & go home alone again

There were years where people were liking & retweeting my tweets, & not unfollowing, even though I was not only an untreated bipolar alcoholic, but one with acute borderline characteristics. I was only an actor, performer then (& will always be, here,) but thanks all the same.
