Started auditing BattleChain Confidence Pools @CodeHawks and realized something important about my approach. Before the contest started, I sent the details to GPT to generate sample code and predict likely bugs class based on the contest details so that i could read reports based on those predictions , It felt productive, but it wasn’t. When the contest started, I noticed the problem: - I spent ~4 hours studying code that didn’t exist - built the wrong mental model - let AI lead my thinking - and let ai risk mapped without first attempting That’s when it clicked. Watching Prison Break made it clearer - Scofield didn’t start with execution. He first understood the system and built a mental model before targeting weaknesses. My mistake was skipping that step. So I’m stepping back to focus on: - understanding a protocol’s purpose quickly - building a clear system model - mapping risks based on system features Not enough to win yet, but these are the foundations I need to get right first.

I should have shared this right after completing the Curvy Puppet challenge, but I’ve been dealing with unstable electricity over the past few days, which slowed down my progress a bit.
