Had a horrible experience when my order was snatched by someone and delivery person or anyone from zomato did not bother to call or tell us while I waited for 1 hour for my order. I contacted support and they said the order was cancelled as not required from your side.

Then I shared the screenshot of previous chat, then they said, ok sorry, it was not initiated previously. Now we are initiating manually. Till date, no refund has been received. #Zomato #Zomatoindia

I was amazed at the audacity that they are blaming me and didn’t even care to initiate refund even after I chatted with them and complained. Further I insisted then they investigated and said sorry the order was snatched but, we cannot initiate the refund.

After further explanation, they said ok i am initiating the refund and it will reflect in 7 working days. I received no refund till 15 days. I contacted them again, again they started with same story, it was cancelled from your end as not required, so no refund was initiated.

@akshay_garg2 @makemytrip Then the app, its is the worst one ever. There's no option for chat support. I have spent 30k on a booking, invited guests and now restaurant is denying it, @makemytrip is not reachable, I cannot book another restaurant. My money is stuck and there's no one to advise.

@akshay_garg2 @makemytrip Yes, it was a very bad experience. Specially when you call the customer care to seek assistance and they reject your call saying, "Call us 48 hours before your booking. We have other important bookings to entertain. You are not important to us."
