The technical issue causing the provincial AHS network outage has been resolved & teams are working quickly to restore all clinical systems, which will take a few hours. We are reviewing the cause of the issue to learn how we can prevent this from happening in the future.
AHS continues to experience a network outage, which is impacting services across AB. EMS dispatch is functioning with back-up procedures. Our teams are currently using downtime procedures to ensure we can continue to provide patient care. 1/4
AHS is working to restore clinical IT services as well as full capacity for 8-1-1 Health Link. In an emergency, please call 9-1-1. Downtime procedures are being used at sites as needed. Updates on the outage are available on a temporary AHS website: ahsnow.ca.
