Hi folks, I’m afraid it’s time for me to say goodbye. Not just leaving Twitter, but the whole show. I’ve been battling cancer last 2 years, but now only have a few days left now. Thank you wonderful people, I leave this crazy world with much love in my heart ❤️

@daniela_witten @RegenceWA @BlueShieldCA I was so angry at how predatory they were and how easy it would have been to get screwed over. I got a health advocate who contact Blue Shield on my behalf. This stuff is so common it’s sickening

@daniela_witten @RegenceWA @BlueShieldCA tried to get me to pay a $2.5mil NICU bill even though I had insurance because the hospital had a typo in my son’s name when they submitted the insurance. Several blue shield call center representatives tried to get me to wave my right to be insured for the visit.

@RossumAi I can't seem to get my phone number to pass any of your demo, signup or contact form validations. I really want to try out and get pricing/information about your product but just spent 20 minutes and can't figure out any way to getting through.

@rishmishra @thmsmlr Try googling “amplitude delay” to get an idea of how users experience that problem. Plug-in delay is worse with audio tracks than midi but can still be a problem when your midi track has a ton of processing on it.

@rishmishra @thmsmlr For mixing, as long as the tracks play in sync, I don’t really care if there is a delay after hitting the play button. Also meant to put synth, not sync in the previous tweet.

@rishmishra @thmsmlr I am not that familiar with electron but I wonder if it’s a possible answer. Have a desktop option for low latency needs like multi-track recording with low-latency monitoring. Can mix and master from the web cause latency isn’t a deal breaker once you have recorded.

@rishmishra @thmsmlr I’ve been thinking about this problem a lot too. Needing a binary for a plug-in (like VST) is not ideal. WebASM seems fast but I dont think the connection between the browser and the audio drivers will ever be as performant as desktop.

@RaymondFArevalo I think forming an LLC can help but there is a $800 yearly CA franchise tax so you have to make sure the tax savings are > $800 to be worth it.
