Hello. 2 versions were looked at: 1.) avc1/1280x720/O2sLx9TbBdaTB42b.mp4). 2.) web hosted video in 480p wherever it was hosted from to compare it — captures in 1280 conclude the same data. What we stated before remains the same from post production detection of generative vs traditional video on Neat, Davinci, Adobe.. it’s the same rules that apply. Sorry thought I answered it. Question: Do the same irregularities often appear in lossy compressed video? Answer: In traditional media, (H.264) lossy codecs look a certain way: honeycomb blockiness, macroblocks, color banding in gradients, or artifacts mostly in darker areas. Basically block-based going one way. In generative lossy, AI "hallucinates" in an affine motion or reconstructs the missing details, creating that fluid smooth look or airbrushed artifacts. So yes, both irregularities appear in Neat for traditional and generative. For Traditional, they would appear as block like. For generative they would appear as fluid smooth, neural deformation adaptive and circular like.

Hi @_midGRAY the claim was ever that Neat V6 can detect Ai. It’s also not just a noise reduction plugin. Yes that’s its main feature, but it also has settings inside of it that you cannot get through Adobe, such as editing and manipulating on different channel frequencies. x.com/alteredstatedt…

@ProjectConstitu Video production company here with case studies on SEMRUSH, Snapchat, AdsoftheWorld Etc. We use Neatv6 for our clients and double checked the claim. The Charlie Kirk video undoubtedly comes back with spatial artifacts around the hand, mouth and microphone.

Neat advanced temporal filter settings on Y channel allows you to detect a videos irregularities, artifacts, morphing, warping, wrong edge, texture positioning. There is nothing in Near that says “this is Ai detected”. The footage definately shows all the signs of the fluid like FPS motion that you find in Ai videos, which give it that airbrush look in those detected spots. Hope that helps.
