They need both a lump sum plus then commit to hundreds a month in repayments. And at the ends of the 3yrs, they’ve a car worth less than the GMFV. They can ‘afford’ it yet not the €140 lump sum annual motor tax payment. 🧐 Crazily financially illiterate. 🟦 @gardainfo

It would appear that Inspector Oliver Woods has a history for making excuses for his @gardainfo colleagues breaching road traffic legislation. Correspondence from him way back in 2023 when I brought to his attention Gardaí based at Malahide driving private vehicles with no NCT.
