J'ai lu et entendu une dizaine de théories sur les événements de Ceuta, mais en l'absence de preuves, ça reste dans le domaine de l'hypothèse et de la supputation. L'hypothèse de l'instrumentalisation du Maroc pour faire pression sur l'Espagne est réfutable et même absurde pour différentes raisons. D'abord, quel serait l'objectif et la rationalité d'une telle instrumentalisation? Les relations entre le Maroc et l'Espagne sont à leur meilleur niveau. Le gouvernement de Pedro Sanchez soutient le plan marocain d'autonomie du Sahara, pierre de touche pour le Maroc de ses relations diplomatiques. La droite espagnole reproche même à Sanchez sa proximité avec Rabat, et affaiblir le gouvernement socialiste espagnol n'est pas dans les intérêts du Maroc. Ensuite, il y a le timing. Ces événements surviennent au moment même où le Maroc célèbre le 27ème anniversaire de règne de Mohammed VI. Pourquoi alors le Maroc gâcherait-il ce moment de célébration, car démonstration par l'absurde, il aurait pu choisir une autre semaine ou un autre mois pour instrumentaliser ce dossier !! Autant en 2021, ces hypothèses auraient pu être audibles et discutables, car les relations entre le Maroc et l'Espagne étaient exécrables, autant aujourd'hui ce genre de supputations sont farfelues et sans fondement logique.

We condemn the attacks by Polisario Front in Smara. Such violence threatens regional stability and the progress made towards peace. These actions are inconsistent with the spirit of the recent talks. The time to end this 50-year-old dispute is now. As affirmed in UNSCR 2797, the Moroccan Autonomy Proposal lays out the path to peace in Western Sahara.
