Absolutely gutted that the show can’t happen tonight. The storm damage to the venue and our equipment made it impossible for the show to take place and the decision was made to cancel for the safety of everyone attending and working on the site.

After watching England's World Cup match in Kansas, Louis arrived in **Independence, Missouri**, and yes... someone looked especially happy. 😏⚽ Dressed in his favorite colors (yes Lou, we already know... black and red!), he took the stage wearing a **Willy Chavarria Casa de Chavarria Tape Jacket** with matching sweats, staying true to the effortlessly cool style we've come to expect from him. He opened with an incredibly powerful **Lemonade**, immediately setting the tone for another unforgettable night. As always, a massive thank you to everyone who livestreams these shows, allowing fans from all over the world to feel like we're right there in the venue. You make these nights possible for so many of us. From there it was straight into **On Fire**, **Written All Over Your Face**, **Bigger Than Me**, and a thunderous **Out Of My System** that echoed through the entire arena. Louis looked genuinely happy. Really happy. (Yes... England had just won. We know exactly why. 😏) Then came his first speech of the night: *"Independence... How did we get here?* *points at a fan* *I see you... first show? I love that!* This is the part of the show where I say thank you so f***ing much for having us here. These shows don't exist without every single one of you beautiful people. For as long as I've been doing this, I've had unbelievable support and I'll never be able to thank you enough for that. I love you all. Let's celebrate tonight, let's have some fun... **It's coming home!**" (Yes... he was talking about football. Just to be absolutely clear. 😂) With that, the atmosphere shifted into the emotional part of the show as **Saturdays** filled the room. Every time I hear the opening chords of **Dark To Light**, it gets me. There's something about that song that makes time slow down for a few minutes. The audience sang every single word before **Defenceless** arrived, with Isaac faithfully by Louis' side once again. (By the way... Isaac finally opened a TikTok account! Go give him a follow!) Even though Defenceless almost asks you to stop singing and simply listen, thousands of voices couldn't help whispering along: *Never been so defenceless...* The crowd was absolutely on fire as Louis and the band walked toward **Stage B** for a beautiful performance of **Night Changes**, followed by the always soft and comforting **Lazy**, the delicate **Sunflowers**, and then my daily mantra... **Lucid.** And once again Zak's piano transformed the entire venue into something that felt almost like a lullaby, wrapping everyone in one of the most beautiful moments of the night. Then came Louis' second speech, and by this point it was impossible not to notice how much fun he was having. He was smiling, joking, interacting with fans... you could tell he was genuinely enjoying every second of the night. He absolutely loved the rainbow fan project during **Lucid**, and then one fan managed to make him laugh with one of the most random interactions of the tour. After finding out someone had named their cat after him, Louis said: *"Zak Craner, ladies and gentlemen! Give him a round of applause! How's everybody doing so far? We good? I'm buzzing... Anyone watching the World Cup at the minute?"* (*That cheeky smile already gave us the answer.* 😏) *"Any USA fans in here?"* *gives a little "so-so" head movement.* *"Any England fans?"* *grins while hearing the mixed reactions.* *"Yeah... It's coming home! It's coming home! I've got a good feeling about it. You Americans are probably getting a little excited... but that's alright."* Then, as he always does, Louis shifted from joking to speaking straight from the heart. *"This is the part of the show where I want every single one of you to understand just how unbelievably important you are in my life. Like I said before, these shows don't happen without you... but I also need every single one of you here every night. Wherever I go, I know I've got your support, and I feel so incredibly lucky because of that. Thank you so much."* Then he noticed a fan holding up a picture. *"Are you showing me a picture of a cat?... Is that a cat?... You named your cat after me?... Is that supposed to be a compliment? I don't like cats..."* A brief pause... *"Well... I like YOUR cat."* Classic Louis. That led perfectly into **Jump The Gun**, and somewhere along the way the jacket disappeared, leaving him in just his sleeveless shirt. Apparently that's what someone who "doesn't work out and never goes to the gym" looks like. Sure, Louis... we totally believe you. 😂 It was also a warm night, so honestly... we can't blame him. Then came **Imposter**, **Sanity**, and **Last Night**, where he briefly stumbled over a couple of notes before instantly recovering with a smile. Honestly... who hasn't had one of those moments? You're forgiven before you even need to ask, Lou. ❤️ The energy immediately shot back up with **Kill My Mind**, **Face The Music**, and one of the loudest **Silver Tongues** choruses of the tour. Before the final chorus Louis shouted his legendary... **"SCREAM!"** ...and Independence answered exactly the way he wanted. *"You smile at me and say it's time to go..."* The arena practically sang the rest for him. Then came **The Observer**, giving everyone a brief moment to catch their breath. Since we're all living in World Cup mode... Let's just call it the official **hydration break.** 😂💧⚽ While the arena echoed with chants of **"Louie! Louie! Louie!"**, everyone waited for him to return once again. The chants of **"Louie! Louie! Louie!"** filled the venue until Louis finally returned to **Stage B** for **The Answer**, taking a few more moments to interact with the crowd before launching into a wonderfully loud **Miss You**. Then came **Send Me Under**, and honestly... I think it's safe to say this song has officially earned its permanent place in the setlist. Every night it feels stronger, more emotional, and somehow even more special than the one before. Finally, **Palaces** brought another incredible night to a close. What a beautiful way to end another unforgettable show. **Independence... you impressed me.** Tonight had everything. A smiling Louis after England's World Cup victory. Heartfelt speeches. Football jokes. A fan who named their cat after him. A rainbow fan project that genuinely made him smile. A tiny musical slip that only made him more human. A sleeveless shirt that had half the internet collectively forgetting how to breathe. Thousands of voices singing every lyric back to him. And, as always, that unique connection between Louis and his fans that simply can't be manufactured. Every night somehow feels different, yet familiar. Every city writes another page of the same beautiful story. A story built on music, trust, gratitude and thousands of people choosing to grow together, side by side. Thank you once again to every single person who livestreams these concerts. Because of you, so many of us get to experience these magical nights from thousands of miles away. Now it's time to pack everything up... Still doesn’t feel real. Been quiet on here the last few days, just reflecting on the tour of a lifetime 3 weeks. 10 arenas. 5000 miles. Over 100,000 people🤯 Thank you to Louis and every single one of you who supported and welcomed me on this tour, a dream come true❤️
