As a child I read somewhere that if you look in a mirror under low-light you are prone to hallucinating figures within. So for a while if I used the bathroom after dark I would wash my hands with closed eyes because I didn't know how long I could look up before I was jump-scared.

@AngeAzrael I'm not entirely sure that those facilities exist around here, one can probably hire out for at-home care though. People with that obligation of care can develop such a sense of arrogance, especially because said love might be considered so admirable.
