@dangercart @garlicksauce I just wish that progressives who don't vote (but might) was a larger constituency than moderates who do. I just don't think the data supports that. I don't think it's Dem strategy that has made trump viable. 47% of voters seem to really like him.

@dangercart @garlicksauce In polling from NYT/sienna she's increased her share of gop vote from 5% to 9%. This moderation may be frustrating to us liberals but it's electorally a smart move. None of progressives goals happen without winning more elections.

@RealBobManning Our just by years of consecutive service with single club. After x years, contracts discounted against cap by y% to max of z%. Is propose 5, 10%, 50%. I just think it's so much more fun to fall in love with teams over time. Not sure the owners feel the same way.

@dslack @dangercart I hope they also are thinking about how to build team equity through ratings and community building. I don't think it helps the league that Klay is leaving gsw for example. Warriors have always had huge ratings during their run and part of that is their continuity.

@dslack @dangercart It encourages slower team building rather than fa or mega trade super teams. My suspicious is that would be good for ratings etc because of increased affinity to players teams but I could be wrong.

@brohrbach My wife was going to take it, but he demanded she be in it and took her phone and handed it to the waitress. My wife then came and demurely stood to the side and he said "sweetie, you stand in front of me, I promise you won't block me."
