OpenAI definitely reduced the limits. No doubt about it. They removed the 5 hour limits, then slowly reduced weekly usage while handing out resets so people wouldn't notice as much. I'm a heavy user, and now I can burn through my entire weekly limit overnight with just a couple of High and Extra High effort agents. Before, I had to run a bunch of GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra agents to do something like that. The difference is huge.
@thsottiaux Many people feel codex usage rates have been nerfed recently along with the 'free' resets we got last week. Please fix and make no mistakes :)

Yes and it has to do a full architecture rework for every small fix. It wasn't like this a week ago.
I asked Sol to fix something ridiculously simple while I was away from my MacBook. I came back to find it had burned through over 80% of my weekly limit because it opened a PR I never asked for. Fable would never.
We should be able to buy an additional limit reset instead of creditsin Codex/ChatGPT Credits are just confusing. @thsottiaux
