@looneyburgmusic @ericsalinas @ronsterd89 Why is that last bit relevant? The point is that it’s a venue that hosts weddings — they partner with a catering company and all — and they do not permit children. Many historic homes and properties serve as wedding venues and have restrictions like this.

@looneyburgmusic @ericsalinas @ronsterd89 I got married at the Sedgeley Club in Philadelphia recently — Boathouse Row — and because it’s a historic property right on the Schuylkill River, they do not allow children under 12 years of age. Feel free to contact them to confirm. I do agree however that this is not the norm.

30% fare increases Service cuts by 20% across the board Dozens of routes eliminated "Unusable service" on weekends We are imminently facing an irreversible public transportation "death spiral" because Harrisburg Republicans did not fund SEPTA. This new reality is nothing short of catastrophic for West and Southwest Philadelphians, who disproportionatley rely on public transportation to get around. The time for political games is over. A bill fully funding SEPTA already passed the State House with bipartisan support. I call on Pennsylvania Senate Republicans to stop stonewalling and immediately send House Bill 2625 to Governor Shapiro's desk. If all else fails, I urge Governor Shapiro to do everything he can to stop the bleeding.
